Bytewalk

Terms of Use

Effective 5 October 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and CSuite Code ("we", "us") for your use of the Bytewalk app. By using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

The app

Bytewalk is a game in which your walking moves a digital character through a story. We may add, change or remove features and content, and the app may be unavailable from time to time.

Walk safely

Bytewalk never needs you to look at your phone while you walk. Pay attention to your surroundings, follow local laws, and do not trespass. The app is entertainment. It is not a medical or fitness device and does not give health advice. Talk to a doctor before changing your level of activity if you have any health concerns. Travel in the game is capped each day; there is no reward for overdoing it.

Accounts

You can play without an account. Signing in with Apple lets you keep your progress and join crews. You are responsible for activity on your account. You must be old enough to agree to these terms where you live, or have a parent or guardian agree for you.

Fair play

You agree not to:

We may reset progress, remove someone from leaderboards or races, or suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.

Expedition Pass

In-game items

Levels, items, materials and other in-game things have no cash value, cannot be sold or exchanged for money, and are licensed to you for use in the game only.

Our content

The app, its story, art and name belong to CSuite Code. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, as allowed by the App Store's usage rules.

Ending these terms

You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time from Settings in the app. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms or if we stop offering the app.

Disclaimers

The app is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties, express or implied, including that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that step counts or progress will always be recorded correctly.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, CSuite Code is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data or progress. Our total liability for any claim about the app is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim, or US $50 if greater. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

Apple

These terms are between you and CSuite Code, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them. Where these terms are silent, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, you also keep any protections that the law of the place where you live says cannot be waived.

Changes

We may update these terms. We will change the date above when we do. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
